That is a car that I seriously would enjoy driving every day--that's one h*** of a car to have as your first BMW!
Today, I would love to drive a beat up (beat up is totally ok with me) 1986+ 944 with sport package. There was one on eBay for $1800 obo, and the guy said it can be driven daily and long distances as everything has been replaced over the years....I didn't go for it....my wife wanted to get a 1996 Z3 4 cyl. from the in-laws for $1500, I told her no, it's an auto, who wants that and the in-laws never give away anything for nothing, so you know it needs work....
