^^ that is correct. I bought my kit from Tischer and had my local dealer do the programming. They charged me 2 hours to do it (although I think this was a bit much).
What you get from Tischer is the activation code that will enable to dealer to re flash your car with the upgraded software (plus some stickers
) This is for the version 1 of the kit. Version 2 can also be bought this way but your install will be more involved and will take longer at your dealer.
Also remember, you MUST have the OEM auxiliary oil cooler for this. If you don't have it I have heard of people having it installed but now you are getting really $$$.
