I have a similar question. I would like to replace my 2006 330i 4dr e90 headlights. My owners guide says I have Xenon Adaptive, but I have never noticed any movement of lights while driving or standing still.

I would like to replace with something like...

http://www.xtralights.com/06-08bmwe9...itpackage.aspx

But these don't say anything about "adaptive".

Can anyone tell me what will happen if I put these in my car (assuming my headlights are adaptive)? Will they:

1) Work, but issue computer failures.
2) Not work at all.
3) Work, but require special wiring. If this is the case, how difficult is it to do myself?

Also, what makes the headlights "adaptive"? Is there additional wiring? Is there a motor that rotates the lights when turning?
