Not a direct competitor, I dont think volvo has the chasis and driving dynamics down yet but it may be nipping on bmw's tail. Audi has certainly caught up now and they have a prettier package. Not everyone care for performance and when they do some may prefer real through bred like a Cayman or Elise.
BMW is still sitting high but in competitive environment one can't assume that will continue
