If I understand you correctly the answer is no, if you simply delete your old DATEN folder and replace it with the new one you will be missing files. The new DATEN folders contain updated versions of some of the files you already have but not all of the files that you need so you must merge the new folder into the old one and overwrite the older files in the folder with the newer, does this make sense?
