Sorry to reopen this post... but my local indi specialist advised me to blank my swirl flaps. I have a 2007 320d msport. He told me about the damage they can cause... but is it just scare mongering? Is it a wise investment of £200 to prevent the problem ever occurring? They include reprogram of ECU to not look for the swirl flaps.
