Sorry to hear this? Was this just a dip in the road that had flooded or did you go through a Ford?
How much of the front did you submerge and did you have a bow wave going across the bonnet? If water made it to the engine then it's highly likely that you'll have bent pistons etc. Unfortunately water doesn't compress well.
The intake is fairly high up so it would have to be quite deep for this to happen. If you are lucky you only flooded the exhaust causing the engine not to run. Based on your description that the interior is okay, then it doesn't sound that deep. Did you crawl out of the boot or were you able to get out without letting any water in?
