DVD Navigation update disk - Good News!
For those who are waiting for an update disk for their 2008 and older cars with the factory DVD navigation systems, I have good news.
NavTeq is no longer supplying DVD update disks. The contract is now with TeleAtlas. I spoke with someone at TeleAtlas today to try and find out what is going on and he said the disk will be released to dealers within 2 weeks or so. There will be a link on the BMW website for ordering as well. He told me it will retail for 199.00. BMW customer service was the one that referred me to TeleAtlas.
