whoops, I figured OP meant warranty...yea car insurance has nothing to do with mods, unless your car suffers serious damage and claims are opened on the aftermarket parts. Under those circumstances I have no idea what procedure is like, my car had a bumper+headlights+radiator replaced with insurance and the mods were never mentioned..but maybe thats because the damage was (relatively) minor and cosmetic.
