Two extremes - 2 18" refunded after a year. Read the thread (and search for the watchdog thread) and you'll see. Then more recently had a 230 style 19" replaced without questions. Quite a few others have.

Only chance I reckon is if you bought the car from a BMW dealer and had it serviced by them, and then you'll need some luck - or you might persuade to do them at cost.
