Just changed my cabin air filter and found that all the screws had been overtightened and the holes stripped. Someone actually tightened the front 2 screws so much that they cracked the tabs. The screws still hold the filter housing down but I'll probably have to fix the holes and buy a new housing eventually.
Just checked on the McMaster parts from the initial post. You have to buy 25 of the inserts and 100 M5 bolts. Must be a lot of extras floating around. If anyone has any they want to sell in pairs of 6, let me know by PM. Thanks!
