Only recently did the government introduce that charge for over-polluting large commercial vehicles entering London, some £200 per day! Seeing as this charge does affect only a small niche group of vehicles, I don't really see the great benefit it will bring to london's environment.

I see London as having a grave problem on their hands. They are trying to lead in the fight against pollution. I have no issue with this whatsoever, but I do have an issue with the alternatives good ol' Ken has left us with; PUBLIC TRANSPORT...? Not only is it so expensive that it offers very little financial benefit over using your car, but its shite, if you compare it to the transport of our fellow Europeans across the pond.

How can London expect to lead by example if they are not even willing to learn by example?

Shoot Ken Livingstone? Get in line I say!
