The N55 135i w/ DCT is pretty competitive with an N54 steptronic. BMS has run 12.4s on it with just Stage1 on one. The N55 steptronic seems to run slower for some reason. Overall I think a tuned N55 DCT has a chance against a tuned N54 steptronic but I wouldn't bet on it.
