thanks for the replies, for the record, i did conduct preliminary research but the coding success thread is too long so i gathered from a few other threads that the first cable i listed is proven and guaranteed to work. and the cheaper cable has been asked before but there has not been any solid claims as to if it will work or not. Also, I found out people bought that cable for up to 2008 MY but from another ebay seller for $90 bucks or whatnot and it still works on 09+ cars, hence my question to see if the $60 is the same as the $90. In addition, all those threads seem to have been buried way in the back or it is someone's random post in another irrelevant thread. so to make this easier for the community, i started a new thread to make it easier for people to shed some light on this matter. if the $60 cable does indeed work, i think i just made a break through for the community then
