Some asshole kids put a sticker on the hood of my car (the "hello my name is" kind). The car sat in the sun for a week or so before i was able to get my hands on cleaning it off. I managed to get the white part of the sticker off, but there is still that sticker residue left. Its not sticky to the touch, looks like a thin layer of plastic.
So i tried to remove it with clay bar, with goo gone, and the dishwasher liquid, but with no success. Any ideas what else i can try? Acetone? Paint thinner? WD-40?
I want something that won't damage the paint.
I'm really desperate here, any advise???
