I had this experience too. For me the actual problem was the tire. One of the tires was screwed up...I think one of the metal belts inside was broken. I went through a lot of BS and had my "bent" wheel fixed twice, had an alignment done AND rebalanced. Drove around for 4 months with a light vibration/shake. The tire had abnormal wear so I had a new set of rubbers put on the car and BAM! Shake disappeared. The tire guy said that it was probably the tire itself. Thats just my .02! Good luck with this!
