I changed my oil on my 2007 335i and had to use an aftermarket oil filter which came with an aftermarket oil gasket etc. I noticed that once I put this on that when the engine/oil gets hot it leaks oil from under the gasket (pretty significantly) that is on the cap of the oil filter housing.

I am hoping that this is just due to using an aftermarket oil gasket. Has anyone ever seen this and what is the fix? just a new BMW gasket?
