Ecotune tuned ECU no longer throwing EGR code!

In May I sent my ECU to Redline Speed Worx in NJ for an Ecotune tune with "EGR delete" or adaptation in the software. When I received it back, it was apparent from the OBDII that EGR was not tuned out or reduced in duty cycle. I determined to test the coding by temporarily blocking the EGR using parts I found from a member on this forum. SES Light was set right away - EGR control deviation.

Before the big break with Ecotune, I sent the ECU back to Redline and they reprogrammed it in late summer. When I got it back, a lot of the EGR readiness tests were not working, and many of the other sensors, NoX, etc were not visible in the OBDII readout as before. However, the car runs fine and still consumes DEF.

At the time of the second reprogramming, the car was again setting the EGR code after maybe a couple days of testing. Now it seems, after three months, the EGR block still in place, it no longer throws a code.

Now I have a few questions: 1. Why would the ECU suddenly stop throwing the code? 2. Anyone else have an Ecotune noticed that many parameters are no longer visible or "not ready?" 3. What is the significance of the missing parameters and OBDII functions?

I happy to have the tune still and no SES, but I'm curious how others' ECUs with Ecotune are working.
