My understanding of the O2 sensors is that read Lambda and just output AFRs as a reference. Stoich for ethanol is ~9:1. So 9:1 equals 1 lambda, that means at if you're running 10:1 ethanol its going to read it as 1.1 lambda. Which in turn is going to be "artificially" lean AFRs because the AFRs are converted for gasoline. I could be wrong on this though...
