The media/law enforcement personnels should not be 100% completely open... If everything they know is exposed to public... it will most likely cause public hysteria for every little event...
So of freaking course, it is filtered.... perhaps that is too complex to understand for you...

Media is NEVER going to be 100%, and don't ever expect it to be.
