Today I got a chance to install the Cree LED Angel Eyes from modmy3. These are for my pre-LCI with factory xenon. The install is the same as most halos, however, these come with a resistor that DOES NOT fit in the housing. I was instructed to leave the housing off (no, it is sealed for a reason), or drill a small hole. I bit the bullet, drilled a hole, and taped the resistor to the exterior of the housing. I filled the gap with Marine 5200 (won't leak). These are very bright. I uploaded a day time pic so you can see the difference. Even with my 8mp camera phone you can tell the difference. I would have liked a self contained unit that didn't have any external part, but at $100 vs $160 Ill give it a shot. Overall I am very happy with the light output, seeing how I am going to be coding these as DRLs. Night and day to the stock halogen, which I thought looked awful yellow. Onto the photos-
