I had part numbers 61-14-9-119-447 & 61-12-9-269-907 replaced isnt this the recall?
I believe there was the old way (how yours was done) and the new way (what the SA is telling you). It seems BMW change how to do the recall since the "old way" would have cost them an arm and a leg. And the new way is a LOT easier without as much labor.

I could be very wrong but that's how I understand it. If the SA won't help, talk to the service manager. If they won't help call BMW USA. If they won't help, there is always your local news and the NHTSA.
