I have a friend that had a lemon a few months ago with his 08 e90 335i and issues with the navigation and tires issues.
It was white and the car before a year and the color was faiding so he ask at the dealer and they say that it was normal
He told me that he found that the cars assemble in africa are the most likly to have issues of this kind

Wrong buddy; 50% of the 3-series cars are made (not assembled) in South Africa, and you'd be surprised the statistics are exactly opposite of what you claim on here. They are higher quality. Most of the people driving these cars around have no clue the car did not come from Germany. Anyhow, that's not the point, just saying. I don't care where they made the car, it either works or doesn't work. That said, I think this guy has a HPFP issue. I had this on my car, and changing the HPFP fixed the issue in my case.
