You have your answer above: keep the supplies from temperature extremes. So if your detached garage gets below freezing in winter or gets really hot in summer, then you'd be smart to keep your detailing chemicals somewhere else such as your house's mudroom or laundry room.
thanks for the reply. what is considered temperature extreme? My garage doesn't go below freezing, and on summer months, it can get up to 100 degrees, but not more (some days). Is that too hot for the wax and supplies?
