It appears that a very very small percentage of E9X owners have seen these as their OEM tire. I cannot quantify the exact percentage but my dealer says that about 1 out of every 15 E9X have them. They first appeared sometime in NOV/DEC 07.
Unfortunately you cannot specify what tire your car will come with, even with ED. Whatever is delivered to the factory is put on your car. E46's had three potential tires (Michelin PS (original not PS2), Dunlop 8080E's and Contisports). It was, and still is, a tire lottery.
