GM Transmission (GA6L45R) Service complete shopping list

This is not a DIY but rather just an informational post for those who are looking to do service their GM transissions themselves. I recently bought all the necessary components to do a tranmission fluid change on my 328xi with the GM tranny. For those who are looking to do it soon, here is a complete shopping list of what you will need and the cheapest places to get them.

From www.thebmwpartstore.com:
Transmission filter (# 24-11-7-593-565) $43.32
Gasket (24-11-7-572-618) $39.02
Oil Drain bolt (24-11-7-572-622) $1.51
Oil Fill bolt (24147572603) $13.38

From www.amazon.com
Redline D6 fluid (from Amazon) - $11.49 x 7 quarts http://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-30704.../dp/B004BTGK6E
OR
Walmart D6 fluid - about $4/qt locally (YMMV)

Total cost - $177.66 (assuming you went with Redline)

ECS Tuning sells a preassembled kit for $175 but since it was assembled by them, I could not verify if they are providing geniune OEM BMW parts or aftermarket parts. It is not stated in the description (probably for a reason) and given that it was only $2 difference, I opted to buy from the BMW dealership as I know I will get genuine BMW parts.

ECS Tuning Preassembled kit (might not be oem BMW parts) - http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-328...ion/ES2523914/

DIY - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573490

PS: since only 328i and 328xi's get the GM Transmission, i figure i post in the N/A section for people to see. If its posted in the wrong section, please feel free to move.
