Sorry but I feel the opposite. The police have a job to do, so we should let them do it. Nothing is worse than a busy-body who feels they have to play Buford T. Justice. I'm not saying that if somoene is in trouble, you ignore it, but I can't stand those cop wannabes, they're a menace imho. If you wanted to be a police officer, why didn't you? This is rhetorical and not directed at the OP. But there are better ways to spend your time.
