I took my car in yesterday. As I suspected, my car already has the latest EGR valve that's part of this recall - reference this thread from back in the fall when I had to have my EGR valve replaced

However, they still need to replace a valve. I couldn't quite make out what the SA said over the phone but I think it's the urea metering valve. Hopefully I'll have the car back before long, and hopefully there won't be any negative ramifications.
