It's really easy to get caught out like this.
I got lucky with the E46 in that the car was a July build for Sept 1st delivery, but as the E46 was getting a little long in the tooth all they did was update the engine to Euro4 emmissions standards. So I didn't miss out on anything.
Just think how all those guys who ordered E60's just before they revealled the facelift must be feeling.
