I've browsed multiple forums and not found the answer I need, even checked Opie oils and got conflicting answers.

I've got a 2008 335i and need to get some oil for a top up, which one do I get?

LL01 is mainly suited for the US cars but is supposed to be better than LL04.
LL04 is the one that's recommended for my year but Opie says LL01

Then there's the question of 0W 30 or 5W 30 or even 0W 40.

Suggestions people......
