No its because we didnt replace the actual bushing in the shift knuckle at the same time. the DSSR alone does nothing but reduce the amount of wear that the transmission puts on the bushings. I talked to john about it and he kept saying it is one of the most missunderstood mods they make.
This is why I have yet to replace the selector rod in my car. I most likely will once the bushing needs to be replaced.
