If you road course your car you will find out they do function. Otherwise I like them for those runs in mexico when your slowing down from 150
Couple Scca guys actually praised the brake ducts on 335i. Especially when compared to the 370z which had nothing. (which is what ended up having car and driver/road and track) one of those guys crashing from brake failure.
