I really think it was the turbo bypass valve that was the root of the problems. Before the fix, my car would kind of slow down abnormally while coasting, kind of like being in a higher gear buy not that dramatic. Dealer found oil in the high pressure turbo, that would foul the injectors I believe. Wow did my performance & gas mileage increase since getting my car back. I love this car. I also have a C5 Corvette with some work done to it. The BMW smokes it......until the Corvettes legs kick in at high rpm. However, I don't floor the Corvette every time I drive it, and the BMW's massive torque kicks in effortlessly and immediately making it WAY more fun to drive. Hmmm, I might sell the vette....or turbocharge it!
