Yes the angel eyes and the actual headlights are different bulbs. I don't know specifics for an E90, but there are official bulb lists on this forum.
LUX color temp is 6500K, so it's more white than blue. It also is only for the angel eyes since there are different bulbs for the headlights. I would say that you're pretty accurate in guessing it is 8000K there.
