yes. battery a tender essential. the parasitic drain will probably kill the battery in two months or so. and it will dramatacally shorten the life. i went 6 weeks without a tender and it started slow. i have since used a tender whenever over a week.
on the other hand, my 1969 ford truck gets parked all winter, and starts up just fine in the spring. but then on old vehicles, turning the ignition key to off means OFF!
