I thought the days of old-fashioned horrible orange indicators were gone since the early E36 days. Even my last E36 ('98 325 tds Sport-Pack) came with proper clear indicators at the back.

I am only now interested in the 'Blackline' option as my wife's E91 touring will be arriving in July. Are these 'blackline' lights original BMW or 3rd party?

The 'blacklines' are a BMW product and are available from the dealer.
I was originally not sure about them .. the standard tail lights look ok to me and I didn't want some sort of 'max power' boy racer aftermarket look.
Now I have them on the car I am converted. They look very nice indeed.
