BMW Some 2007-8 335i, 335xi, 535i and 535xi models with the twin-turbo 6-cylinder N54 engine may develop a fuel pump problem that results in extended cranking time when starting or the engine control system defaulting to fail-safe mode. In T.S.B. 130309 issued on Nov. 1, BMW said it would extend the fuel-pump warranty on those cars to 10 years or 120,000 miles, from four years or 50,000 miles.
