As far as I can tell, they are essentially identical.

One difference, if it can be called that, is the torque specification on the boxes. The Bosch box calls for 20 N-m while BMW calls for 23±3 N-m but I guess 20 is covered by that then. One other difference I noticed is that the central electrode on the BMW plug shows some minor oxidization.

I have used both kinds in my car and it runs the same.
