Any more info on this thread? I have an appointment in a week for my 328i 2007, no mods. It has the same symptoms you guys are mentioning here: rough idle with shuddering on cold start up. Have run some Techron, seems better, and definitely goes away after 15 seconds of running, but with 3 months left on warranty I'd like to get it fixed before doomsday. I'll update the results of my visit...
