Thanks! The machined finish and clear coat seems to go well enough with the satin chrome window trim that I'm really reconsidering my plan of doing the window trim in gloss black.
As for the brake calipers, those were a very easy DIY job using brush on paint. I was just looking to cover up the awful rust that was on there, but the end result in black and with the BMW decals actually grew on me a lot. Fun and cheap afternoon project!
