Took an Audi in for service and found out it needed carbon clean up in the intake manifold. First thing the service advisor asked was "do you use Costco gas?" Let me guess, 2.0T. Direct injection motor, known issue (N54 has same issue), nothing to do with gas and everything to do with bad design.

Costco doesn't charge the Huge price difference between 87 and 93 like the other stations do plus their rates are consistently cheaper. I typically save about 40 cents a gallon with Costco. At 24MPG and 12k miles a year that is $200 in savings.
