Why does 0-100mph in 12 and a bit seconds seem unreasonable to you?
There is quite a few FWD hot hatch backs nailing 100mph with 250-260bhp namely the Mazda 3 MPS and Megane RS in 14 secs, I'm sure someone got the megane into the 13s.
I've driven a few MPSs and had a blast against a couple and they aren't that close.
They don't have the same power, torque are FWD and only weigh a little less.
Cars like the Cayman S with 295bhp gets to 100mph mid 11s as it is just a bit lighter. There is quite a few RWD cars with similar power posting similar times.
My mate has a Cayman S and there is nothing between them.
