I agree that COBB, PROcede, and now JB4 can take advantage of timing to increase fuel economy, but when you look at national averages for E85 MPG/BTU adjusted prices for E85 is still over $4 per gal. I also doubt if Edmunds did anything other than off the shelf testing of flex fuel rated vehicles. But I know for a fact I can't get anywhere near 30 mpg on E85 and the offset in price isn't enough to make it viable, not to mention you can't find it off the Interstate unless you live in Minnesota. I think if someone wanted to get the most MPG, they would be better off running 87 oct with lots of meth for the times they need to get on it, but that's just my opinion.
