i read through all the "Themyst" threads and the only misfire issues he posted were from procede, he is actually selling a valve cover gasket now for the n54 so i doubt that is what his problem was
dealer was checking it out for 5 hours today ($125 an hour
... ) and they think resetting the adaptations will fix it (i doubt it) if that doesnt fix it they are going to pull the valve cover and check for a defective valve spring/cam etc
