not true. I have tried on every setting. The o2 sensor on the n54 is wideband and I believe ours is not.

I tried mini-cats and they worked until they came loose and too much air was getting in, then the code would come on. Nonetheless after I tightened them they helped me get readiness and pass the obd test. As for the catalyst they have inside it is almost non existent. The trick is in restricting the flow to the sensor which is achieved through creating a restriction in the spacer. I can get stainless ones which do the same thing for half the cost of the minicat.

On another note, please check your local regs. Many tests allow for one system to be "not ready". In this case, anyone with the AA tune would still pass their emissions test.
