There was a Euro meetup that mostly included exotics and a lollicup meet which was shut down early due to certain circumstances; none of which were strictly BMW. Also, not everyone is always down to just go in a parking lot and shoot the shit.
Variety is important when trying to get people together as some have family obligations, gf's, kids or whatnot. Bay area meets are a prime example.
