Know this has been dead for a while but doing auto shifter upgrade this weekend and also thanks to your suggestion going to do the manual shifter swap as well. Only question I have is any clue on where I can find the custom harness made for this application to delete the external display and direct the signal to the shifter that you mentioned or did anyone do this another way?
