You get up to the minute reports from any area across the Island. On the N shore close to you is the Eatons Neck "Triangle". A couple mile from Pt Jeff but worth the trip. A great bottom area that has good amounts of fluke, bluefish, bonito and huge bass are pulled out from there. Anchoring up and fishing bunker chunks accounts for many 30-40lb stripers. Diamond Jigging is also great here.
Montauk in the fall is fishermans paradise. I make several trips every season there that time of year. During the fall bass migration you have to work hard not to catch huge bass!
