I upgraded my 325i brakes to 335 brakes and it stops a lot better, looks better as well. It the cheapest option even with the best discs and pads you can buy. A Bbk is going to set you back 1500+.
By the way the front brakes are easy to change, I think the rears on yours will need modified rear handbreak shoes.
