G/f called me today to say the car was juddering and difficult to start, not good news as our other car broke (and subsequently got scrapped) last week
Phoned up John Clarks in Aberdeen to find out what to do and they advised to phone BMW Assistance and if we didn't get anywhere call them back. Guy came out within half an hour and diagnosed a faulty high pressure fuel pump
Really impressed with JC's service today and getting a call back to ask how we were getting on, then booking the car in for the work tomorrow. Big thumbs up
Car is an 08 that has just turned 12.5k miles, hopefully this will be the only problem I get.... the interesting bit was they told me my car wasn't part of the recall campaign so the problem must be more widespread than thought!!
